Everyday Things in My Home (A1)

I want to tell you about the useful things in my home. Every morning, I use many objects to help me with my daily activities.

In my kitchen, I have a sharp knife to cut vegetables and fruit. I keep my knife clean and safe. When I cook, I also use a computer to find recipes. The computer has a monitor and keyboard, and I can search the internet for many delicious meals.

In my living room, I have a TV. I like to sit on my sofa and watch movies. I use a remote control to change channels and control the volume. Sometimes I listen to music on my mp3-player while I clean my house with my hoover.

When I go out, I always check if I have important things. I put my mobile phone in my pocket. I take my wallet with my money and credit cards. I put my keys in my purse, along with some coins and lipstick. If it rains, I take my umbrella to stay dry.

In my garden, I like to work with my garden fork. It has a long wooden handle and helps me clean the leaves. When I finish in the garden, I put my tools in a case to keep them safe.

At my desk, I have both a pen and a pencil. I use the pen to write important things with ink, and I use the pencil to draw and make notes. I keep my business papers in a special case. When I go shopping, I always take a bag to carry my things.
