Jobs in my town (A1)

Let me tell you about the different jobs people do in my town. Every person has an important job that helps our community.

When I wake up in the morning, the baker is already making fresh bread, rolls, and croissants. Next door, the butcher prepares meat and makes tasty sausages for his shop. The greengrocer on my street sells fresh fruits and vegetables.

At the hospital, doctors and nurses work hard to help sick people. The doctor writes prescriptions, and the chemist at the pharmacy makes medicine and gives out pills. They all work together to make people healthy.
